My daughter had the lemon ice and I had Gelati - equal part custard and ice. Incredible. Place is clean, staff up beat and helpful. They are open now (they close for a few winter months) and open until 9p on weekdays.

Been twice. Bad service both times. $8 for two Dixie cups of a slushy with a little ice cream. Not for me.

Great Italian ice and shakes. Owner is extremely friendly and social. Will be back, especially as hot as it is. Note they are located west of the Des Moines golf and country club on University. In a newer plaza on the left just beyond Jethros. Do not try and use any maps apps.

So excited to try this place after my friends in Utah raved about it! And it was amazing!!! Sent the husband and kiddo out to get it so can't say much for the place or staff, but the mango misti they brought me back was like eating heaven by straw. It's a blended mix of their mango Italian ice and their vanilla custard. I maybe would maim for some right now...
